Hi Pam ~ just wanted to tell you that your wonderful little wonderworm played a big part yesterday in my five yr. old son's day.  He unfortunately injured his eye by running into a table corner chasing the dogs.  There was a bad gash in the eyelid and swelling immediately so it was off to the hospital.  In going out the door, I thankfully grabbed his "Snakey" as he's been carrying it around constantly since I gave it to him on Easter. He loves it! He held it tight the whole 3 hrs. we were there at the ER. His eye swelled shut so it was very hard for him to open it and let the doctor check it, plus they had to get drops inside. I think the aroma from the wonderworm even helped calm him.  They wanted to put stitches in, but that just wasn't going to happen, so he's got the tape instead, of which we hope works. But thankfully, the doctor felt there was no injury to the eye itself.

Anyways, he came home and kept Snakey with him and fell asleep at night, holding it.  It brings tears to my eyes now, as I recall how the little toy kept him occupied and distracted from his pain, fear and discomfort.
